This product is sleek and well constructed. Battery life seems endless. I'm powering a non-portable Bose SoundTouch speaker through the AC, coupled with a Google Chromecast powered by one of the USB ports, and supplying audio to the speaker through the auxiliary input. With this Jackery long lasting battery, I have the same music playing on my deck as what's wafting through my house. Google Chromecast, powered speakers in rooms around the house, a 5.1 sound bar in the master bedroom, and my old-school wired 8.1 Dolby Digital sound system in the family room all come together with the Jackery battery to make my home and deck "wirelessly wired." I couldn't be more pleased.
So I preordered this on Kickstartereverything on the Kickstarter website indicated that it wouldwork great for my 15” Macbook Pro (because technically it does work)but it only raised my MBP 43% and then died... Which gave me about 40 minutes extra time....For the amount of money I paid, 40 minutes extra isn’t really worth it.If you have anything else that uses less power, then it’ll work fine for you...
I purchased this battery specifically to power my new Resmed AirMini CPAP during overnight travel and power outages, and it works great for that purpose. CPAP batteries are expensive, and there isn’t one that takes the unique AirMini plug. Because this has a regular US AC outlet on it, that wasn’t a problem. The battery had enough juice that my CPAP was powered for 8 hours, with a therapy setting of 9. The battery was drained from 100% down to 9%. Be aware that the AirMini doesn’t have an attached humidifier (it uses a water capture filter near the face), so I don’t think I would get the same duration from this battery if it was powering my regular CPAP.The battery did turn off about 5 hours into my at-home overnight trial run, even though it still had 43% capacity. I think it’s a feature of the battery to turn off if the power draw becomes too high, or maybe it has an auto shut-off feature after five hours. The shut-off makes it imperfect for use with medical equipment, and I’m not a medical professional or qualified to give medical advice. When it turned off, I woke up and it was easy to turn the battery back on and return power to the CPAP.
Great idea. Does not hold a charge when not being used. And it doesn’t seem to hold much more of a charge than MUCH smaller units that I have bought from Jackery.
I received my jackery and so far ive like it. It chardes my phone when I'm on the go. Comes in handy. Glad I purchased.
Very disappointed, with Jackery fully charged it will only charge my iPad to only 90%
The Jackery charger is one of the best on the market for several reasons. It fits in almost any pocket, it’s easy to handle, and the power is powerful enough to charge any phone or device. Not many portable chargers have this much power (the claim is 10,200mAh).Like many portable chargers, the claim is that they will last up to 500 charges. It takes about 8 hours to fully charge from a low charge (it arrived with 2/3 of a charge). The charge is reflected by three blue bars. It can charge two devices at once; 5V, 1A and 5V, 2.1A. There is an on/off button and it toggles so you can switch from battery power to a small but bright flashlight (two bright white LED lights). I found this flashlight to be very helpful when trying to connect my phone with the cable in the car in the evening or at home. The charging cable is not braided, but plastic, but it should last a long time if handled correctly. It is a simple and powerful charger and of all the chargers I have had, I’ve only had one that had more power than the Jackery (and it was twice as large and cumbersome). The price is fair and competitive. Also, according to FAA rules, you CAN carry this on a plane without worry of it being confiscated.
Works great. Push button to start charging device. I kept forgetting but now it is habit.
These little battery (power) banks are GREAT! Nice a small, but carries a pretty good amount of charge. Could be better, but for the size and capacity these are great.. Speaking of charging... these things are fast... REALLY QUICK charging of my phones (Androids). Can't speak for iOS. Recommend this little buggers. As for size comparison, they're about the size of a deck of cards. Hope this helps
I love that it has a cord so you're not attached to the wall. Works wonderfully! At night I have two tablets, and two to four phones plugged in. Really like the one power charge plug for when I am running low on time and battery!
Very nice product with big promo discounted price.
This port is nice and heavy duty . It feels durable in the hand due to the weight of it. It doesn't feel like a light piece of plastic. Works great.Nice packaging. Customer care reference sheet given.
I haven't had to use this battery pack until this past weekend on a camping trip. It just stayed in my glove box for emergency use. So, on Friday, I made sure it was fully charged and used it Saturday night to charge my Galaxy S7 Edge. It was fast to charge my phone, but the pack was blinking one LED (0-10% power) afterwards. Thinking it was a fluke, I charged the pack last night at home and charged my S7 again and it was blinking one LED when it was done. Now I just have a fancy paper weight. I do not recommend this to anyone.
I have used this while going on car or plane trips and found it very useful.
Efficient, trouble-free, dependable product. Charges easily, and holds a solid reserve of multiple charges for when you are out on the go. Works splendidly with my Samsung GALAXY NOTE III. I'm going to purchase another one.
I really like the Jackery products. This one is compact yet had enough power to completely charge my phone a few times. I also like the design. Both of the USB ports are fast charging.
